Dental insurance is meant to be used regularly, not only when a dental emergency or serious issue comes up. While this is typical for medical insurance, which usually covers serious illness or emergencies, you should never let the dental benefits you paid for go out the window. With it, you can get your basic preventive checkups completed and avoid the overwhelming majority of dental emergencies in the first place! This results in less time needed in the dental chair and more savings on dental care.

Our dental office accepts all major PPO dental insurance plans, however, we are specifically in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama. Being in-network simply means that we have agreed to certain rates for treatments set by a particular insurer. Being in-network usually means you can expect lower costs overall for treatment, however that doesn’t mean being out-of-network isn’t affordable. In some cases, the costs are largely comparable as well, so it’s always best to confirm with our front desk if other financing options are needed.
